Iron Bay Restaurant in Marquette to host Singles Mixer ahead of Valentine’s Day

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - If you’re single and looking to mingle, you might just find love in the air this Friday at the Iron Bay Restaurant.

The Marquette business is hosting its second-ever Singles Mixer. The event includes singles bingo, speed dating, prizes and food and drink specials.

The Restaurant Manager for Iron Bay says it’s a chance for people to get out of their comfort zone and meet some new people ahead of Valentine’s Day.

“I think it’s a unique event and Marquette is only getting bigger, a lot of new people are moving to Marquette and they need friends too, I think it’s just a great opportunity for people to branch out, I think it’s a good opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and I’m excited to see the people who are going to come,” Shannon Johnson, restaurant manager for Iron Bay said.

The Singles Mixer is this Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
