A suspect is arrested and awaiting extradition back to the Upper Peninsula in the case of missing Iron River man Christopher Regan.

Officials confirmed that the woman is 33-year-old Kelly M. Cochran of Merrillville, Indiana. Cochran was arrested on the warrant out of Iron River for homicide, second degree home invasion, concealing the death of an individual, lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation, accessory after the fact to a felony and conspiracy to commit dead bodies - disinterment and mutilation.

Christopher Karl Regan was last seen around October 14 of 2014. Searches and interviews have been conducted since that time trying to locate him. One such search had been conducted at Cochran's residence in March of 2015. Immediately after that search, Cochran left Michigan.

That's when police were able to track her to Indiana. Last week Iron River Police were told Cochran had fled the state of Indiana. She was later found in Wingo, Kentucky and taken into custody.

The Iron River Police Department told TV6 they cannot say whether or not Regan's body has been found.
