A motion for a change of venue in the Iron County Kelly Cochran murder case has been denied and the judge granted all evidence the prosecutor intends to use in trial admissible.

Prosecutor Melissa Powell presented four different types of evidence against 34-year-old Cochran. Powell asked to allow evidence of a fictional letter written by Cochran's husband Jason Cochran, who she is alleged with killing, to be entered.

In addition, the jury will hear the evidence of Cochran fashioning her glasses into shanks and later using them in an attempt to kill herself while in custody, evidence of her flight to Kentucky in an attempt to flee, as well as Cochran's own words of being a serial killer and having committed multiple killings with her husband.

On Thursday, for the first time, the court also heard evidence of a murder pact between Cochran and her husband.

Cochran's three-week Iron County trail is set to begin February 13th.
