Alpha Michigan Brewing Company celebrates 5 years of business

Five miles are being added to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, stretching east from Kawbawgam Road to Lakenenland.

Purchasing a $12 ticket comes with a 10-inch two-topping pizza or a hot pasta dish. Proceeds will go toward Suicide Prevention programs in Alger County schools.

The Michigan State Police Forensic Science Lab located at the 8th District Headquarters in Marquette is the only forensic science lab in the Upper Peninsula.
