Marquette County community works together to raise money for the Women’s Center

Students usually have to pay 40 to 80 cents to ride a fixed route. Now, kids can ride any of Marq Tran’s eight fixed routes throughout June, July, and August.

Topics discussed included using city properties to address housing concerns and offset the bond used for the downtown parking deck project, the creation of a social district in the city, and the outline of finalizing the second revision of the city's master plan before the end of the year.

The Women's Center is teaming up with Mare-Z-Doats for a fundraiser.

Sticker Shock is a yearly youth-led awareness event where teen volunteers place stickers on the outside of alcohol packaging, reminding consumers not to supply alcohol to anyone under 21.

Residents and city officials that lived and worked in the area at that time were interviewed for the Marquette Regional History Center archives.

After a morning of cooking and preparing, the gals get to try everything on their menu, from Jennifer's BBQ ribs to Shannon's grilled watermelon. Everything was delicious!
