Women’s Basketball to Host Reunion and Alumni Game IN August

HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) - The Michigan Tech women's basketball program will be hosting a reunion the weekend of August 1-3 on the Tech campus. It's an opportunity for former Huskies to return to campus to reunite with old teammates, friends, and fans.

An alumni game, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, August 3rd at the SDC Gym. The women's basketball reunion is being held in conjunction with Michigan Tech's annual Alumni Reunion.

The women's basketball reunion will feature three days of events with the complete schedule and link to the registration page for alumni to sign up below. The complete Michigan Tech Alumni Reunion Weekend schedule of events can be viewed at www.mtu.edu/reunion.

To join Michigan Tech on campus for the 2019 Women's Basketball Reunion, click here. Cost is $40 for alumni which includes the at the reception at Continental Fire Company and a T-shirt. $25 for Guests includes the reception at the Continental Fire Company.

4:00 - 6:00 pm Pasty Picnic, MUB Commons ($16 Adult, $7 Child)**
6:00 - 8:00 pm Registration - Front Desk - Student Development Center (SDC)

Saturday, August 3, 2019
9:00 am Keweenaw Alumni & Friends Chapter 5K Run/Walk for Scholarships - Tech Trails Trailhead across from the Sherman field on Sharon Ave (This raises money for local students to attend Michigan Tech) Registration opens at 7:30 am, Walk at 8:30 am, Run at 9:30 am. ($15 in advance or $20 race day)**
4:00 pm Women's Basketball Alumni Game - Wood Gym
7:00 pm Tennis & Women's Basketball Reception - Continental Fire Company, Downtown Houghton
**The Pasty Picnic and 5K Run/Walk are optional Alumni Reunion events, they are not included in your WBB Reunion Registration fee.
