Wildcats Women's Soccer Drops GLIAC Tilt to SVSU, 4-0

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Northern Michigan University Women's Soccer hosted Saginaw Valley State University in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup but fell to the Cardinals 4-0.

Sophomore Rachael Erste (Rockford, Mich.) paced the Wildcats offense with two shots. Senior Jamie Montgomery (Gaithersburg, Md.), junior Isabela Cardoso (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and sophomore Caroline Halonen (Hartland, Mich.) each added a shot.

NMU will now prepare for their fourth-straight home match on the NMU Soccer field Sunday when the welcome Ashland University to Marquette for a 1 p.m. start.
