Teddy Bears to flood ice at NMU hockey home game vs Minnesota State

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Bears will invade the ice at the Berry Events Center Saturday, December 14, during the Northern Michigan University vs Minnesota State hockey game.

Teddy bears that is - a Teddy Bear Toss will take place at the end of the first period of the game. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy of any type to the arena and throw it on the ice after the first period of the game.

The stuffed toys will be donated to the Mining Journal Cheer Club and then given to both The Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul to be distributed for needy families at Christmas.
