BAY CITY, Mi. Following a career high 26 points in her team's 71-66 victory over Saginaw Valley State University and an additional 20 points at Northwood, women's basketball senior Jessica Schultz has been named the Women's North Player of the Week as announced by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Monday afternoon.

She led the team on Thursday night with 26 points, leading her team to victory after classmate Erin Honkala was taken out of the game due to injury. Schultz stepped up for the career-high night, breaking her previous best of 24, set earlier this year at Parkside.

Schultz followed up her career night with 20 more points in Saturday's loss at Northwood, while tying her career high rebounds record of 14.

On the weekend, Schultz finished with 46 points, 18 rebounds and eight blocks.
