Michigan Tech Soccer Hosts "Huskies Lend a Paw to Big Brothers Big Sisters Game" on Friday

HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) – The Michigan Tech women's soccer team will be partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters-UP Kids (BBBS) to host a "Huskies Lend a Paw to Big Brothers Big Sisters Game" this Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. against No. 25 Ashland.

BBBS seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. BBBS programs help children realize their full potential and build their futures by providing strong, enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.

During Friday's warm-ups, each player will be wearing a special t-shirt, which is available to be bid on using the women's soccer Facebook page. Bidding for each shirt begins at $20.

Visit the women's soccer roster page and pick which player's jersey you would like to bid on. To place a bid, post a comment on the special Facebook post with the number of the player's shirt and the bid. Bidding will open on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. and will close at the beginning of the second half at 8 p.m.
