Finlandia Women's Basketball gets a recruit from Houghton

HANCOCK, Mi. Casana Ryynanen (Houghton, Mich.) has committed to play for the Finlandia University women’s basketball team. She is planning on majoring in Art Therapy.

Ryynanen averaged 12.38 points, 5.19 rebounds, three assists and blocked 1.67 shots a game as a senior at Houghton High School. She was named to the All-West PAC Copper Division first team. Ryynanen earned all-region honors in volleyball for the Gremlins and played AAU basketball for Level UP Express.
