HANCOCK, Mich. (WLUC) – Finlandia football's Taylor Bonetti was named to the All-MIAA second team for football, as released by the MIAA office.
The junior started all 10 games at linebacker for the Lions. He had 26 solo tackles with 22 assists for 48 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and blocked three passes. Bonetti is currently fourth in the MIAA for tackles for a loss.
“I couldn't be happier that Taylor got recognized. He's been a hard working and dedicated member of our program for three years. Taylor's played a wide variety of positions for us. This year we moved him into a brand new position and he really took charge for us,” praises Finlandia Head Coach Travis Wiltzius.
