CHAMPION, Mich. (WLUC) - Saturday night, a brand new and unique fundraiser for the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce took place at the Wawonowin Country Club.

The West End Winter Wonderland was a self-guided tour around the golf course, featuring Chamber businesses, activities, and games, along the way. The course was completely groomed and highlighted which attendees could ski, snowshoe, or walk through.

Tickets were $30 for adults, and $5 for kids, with all of the funds going back into the Chamber of Commerce.

"We try to aim to have a fun community event," said Danielle LaCavalla, Executive Director of the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce. "We try to keep the costs low, and in turn hope to give them a great experience that they can brag about, and also brag about our Chamber members and Chamber businesses."

Though the trail was the main attraction, tickets also included food and drink tokens, as well as musical entertainment.
