MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - West End Ski & Trail LLC hosted a Rocky Mountain bike demo Sunday. After the weekend's Ore to Shore festivities, this event couldn’t have come at a better time.
The demo took place in between Marquette Mountain and Rippling River Campground - a perfect location due to the easy access of the Noquemanon Trail Network. The demo was free to participate, all you needed to bring was an I.D., credit card, and a helmet.
There were over 20 bikes to choose from, with a range of different styles.
"People ride these demos so they can get an idea of what these bikes ride like. It’s a little difficult to go spend a bunch of money on a bike if you aren’t sure what it's like. So, this is a great opportunity to come in and really try out the product before you buy it,” said Owner of West End Ski &Trail LLC, Spencer Prusi.
