GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - A Watersmeet Township man arrested for having meth delivered to him through the mail received probation time Thursday at his sentencing.
James Cannella, 53, received two years of probation. He already served 85 days in jail.
On October 9, Cannella pleaded guilty to possession of meth. A count of delivery and manufacture of meth was dismissed.
The Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team (GIANT) arrested Cannella after received a tip that he was purchasing meth and having it delivered to him in the mail.
On September 5, officers found Cannella in possession of a package that he received and he was subsequently arrested.
