MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - As Election Day approaches, voters should make sure they remain as informed as possible on the candidates and issues at hand.
Vote411.org is a resource put together as part of the League of Women Voters Education Fund. The League of Women Voters was founded in 1920 to help the new female voters participate in the elections. Part of their mission now is to educate all voters on candidates and issues they'll be voting on and more.
The website resource also includes the ability for voters to verify their registration status, confirm their poling location, and find out about ID requirements ahead of time.
In Marquette County, voters can also expect a printed voter guide thanks to the partnership between the local league and The Mining Journal.
The League of Women Voters wants to remind all registered voters to get out and make their voice heard. To learn more about exactly what you will be voting on, based on your location, visit Vote411.org.
Election day is Tuesday, November 6.
