Vista Theater hosts Irontown: Motown Cabaret Concert

NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Historic Vista Theater hosted the much–anticipated Irontown: Motown Cabaret Concert Sunday.

With the help from special guest, Jeff Jennings, the cast at the Vista celebrated everything Motown with super-hits like ‘Midnight Train to Georgia,’ ‘Ain't No Mountain High Enough,’ ‘Three Times a Lady’ and much more.

The Vista’s Vice-President, Eliisa Gladwell says the unique family friendly concert was put on as a benefit concert to raise money for planned repairs and renovations to the building.

“We're going to be getting a new roof and the annex needs a new wall. And you're going to be seeing lots of changes to the vista within the next year. So we're really excited to gear up for that. Just keep an eye out all the other fun things that the vista is doing,” Gladwell asserted.

Gladwell says these types of unique performances wouldn’t be possible without the continued support from the community.
