MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum will hold a benefit concert on Saturday night.

Beginning at 7 p.m., bands with local roots like Hell Town Trio, Big Night In, Beatrix, and Royce Park will perform.

There will also be a silent auction with local art and crafts from artists and craftsmen.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards RAICES and K.I.N.D. to help the immigrant children at the border.

"Any benefit concert that helps children is exactly where we want to be as well, we've always had this phrase that 'a rising tide lifts all ships' so we want to be able to benefit everybody and use the museum for the good it can bring," says museum manager Jim Edwards.

The admission price is $5
