FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Tuesday night out at the Up North Lodge in Forstyh Township it was Bike Night. The fundraiser raised money for the Trillium Hospice House in Marquette.
Bike night is a regular fundraiser for the Up North Lodge. Each time they select a different group or organization to raise money for. The Up North Lodge's famous food, drinks, raffles and 50-50 drawings are all a part of bike night.
"We've been having bike nights here at Up North Lodge, they've been including us since we started raising money to build Triullium House," said Executive Director of the Trillium Hopsice House, Pat Bray. "It's always a great opportunity for us to come out, share with people where we are let them know what their support means for the families and and it's been an awesome place for us to come out to."
The Up North Lodge hosts Bike Night every Tuesday night during the summer. Since it was first started in 2007, Bike Night has raised more than $130,000 for local non-profits.
