ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Saturday was the 14th Annual UPtoberfest, maybe the largest wine and beer festival in the Upper Peninsula.

This year's focus aimed at keeping vendors local, meaning all beer and wine was from Michigan. They also raised money for community charities.

United Way Delta County will receive a $10,000 check and will divide it up among local charities.

"We've support the Delta County Cancer Alliance, Child Advocacy Center, and this year we are giving some funds to the Rotary Club Camp Harstad here in Escanaba,” said Julie Mallard, United Way Delta County Executive Director.

The United Way will also be giving a portion of the donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

This is the largest fundraiser for Delta County's United Way.
