UPCM partnering with Connect Marquette for Spread Goodness Day

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - March 15 is Spread Goodness day and the U.P. Children's Museum is partnering with Connect Marquette (formerly 40 Below Young Professionals) for a special event. They are also welcoming volunteers.

They're looking to collect donations of birthday cards, stickers, balloons party hats and more. They'll be bagging those items for donations throughout the community. It's part of the "every child deserves a birthday" initiative.

"The Children's Museum is really happy to partner with the organization. We're going to do some bag stuffing for birthdays and everyone is welcome to come and help them bag and play in the museum while you're here," said Executive Director of the Children's Museum, Nheena Weyer Ittner. "We have a couple of things in store for Spread Goodness Day ourselves."

The event begins March 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Children's Museum on Baraga Avenue in Marquette.
