UPDATE: Two teens identified in Florence County Wisconsin vehicle crash

COMMONWEALTH TOWNSHIP, Wisc. (WLUC) - The two teens who died in a car accident Friday morning in Florence County, Wisconsin have been identified.

The driver, 16-year-old Isabella M. Burrows from Homestead, and passenger, 16-year-old Paige F. Raspor from Spread Eagle, both died from extensive internal injuries.

The two were driving on County Highway N in Commonwealth Township when Burrows failed to negotiate a turn, crossed the center line, exited the roadway, hit a tree and burst into flames.

Wisconsin State Patrol is doing a reconstruction of the crash, which is still under investigation.

The Florence County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Homestead Fire Department, Florence Fire Department, Aurora-Homestead Rescue Squad, Beacon Ambulance and Florence County Coroner's Office.

The Florence School District and Florence County Human Services Department provided assistance to family members and students.

School Psychologist Sara Foster will be available for students and families at Florence County High School in Room 301 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, June 25. Further detailed schedules of support will be released on the District's social media pages.
