Two injured in Monday afternoon Gladstone crash

GLADSTONE, Mich. (WLUC) - Officers were called to a two-car crash in Gladstone Monday afternoon.

Gladstone Public Safety officers and Gladstone Volunteer Fire Department personnel responded to the intersection of US-41 and S. Hill Road at 1:50 p.m.

Investigation determined an 85-year-old Gladstone man was crossing the S. Hill Road intersection and failed to yield to the a 50-year-old Gladstone man who was traveling northbound on US-41.

The 85-year-old driver was brought to OFS St. Francis Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. His 79-year-old passenger was air-flighted to UP Health System-Marquette for further treatment.

Gladstone personnel were assisted by Rampart EMS, Valley Med Flight, and the Delta County Sheriff's Office.
