PESHTIGO, Wis. (WLUC) - Three people were arrested in Marinette County on Thursday after a home invasion in Peshtigo.

According to the Marinette County Sheriff's Office, Marinette County Dispatch received a call about a home invasion at a house on Rehms Road. It was reported that two men and one woman entered the home and physically assaulted the male resident and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Officers were able to locate the two men a short time later in a wooded area off River Road in the town of Porterfield. Both were taken into custody, the sheriff said.

The two men, Dallas Willis, 30, and Jack Swearingen, 41, both of Marinette, were ordered to be held on supervision violations through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC). Willis was also held on an arrest warrant from the DOC.

The woman, 36-year-old Laura Dahlin, of Marinette, was lodged on charges of criminal trespassing and party to the crime of substantial battery.

All three are lodged in the Marinette County Jail, awaiting formal charges from the Marinette County District Attorney.

The investigation is ongoing with the sheriff's office.

Sheriff Jerry Suave said it appears this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing concern for public safety.
