An advocate will available to visit the hospital, police station or courthouse with their victims. The grant will also cover therapists for those who need it.

"For the first time a victim going through a horrendous sexual assault will have free therapy available to them to help them deal with the violence that has happened to them,” Executive Director Cheryl O’Neil said. “We are here to provide services for males, females, anyone who has endured an assault, we are here to provide support and counseling.”

The team will be trained and ready to start by this Friday.
