ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Since the early 1990's the Northern exposure art exhibition at the bonifas fine arts center has been showcasing some of the best work u-p artists have to offer.
Thursday night the gallery awarded more than $3000 in prizes.
Several artists were also granted residencies and solo shows in galleries and towns across the U.P.
The show was juried by renowned Milwaukee artist Pamela Anderson who said judging the show was not an easy task.
"There's a lot of talent in the area here and I've already picked up several great ideas that we should be doing in Milwaukee. Very, very impressed."
The Northern Exposure Show will be on display at the Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba until December 20th.
