MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - It was a tradition for years--the playing of the national anthem at the end of television stations' broadcast day.
Now, Gray Television stations in 93 markets across the country will once again play "The Star-Spangled Banner" each day.
On TV6, the national anthem will air between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. eastern time each day. On FOX UP, air times are set between about 3:30 and 4 a.m. eastern time.
Nine-year-old Reina Özbay, of south Florida, has been inspiring crowds with her performances since she was four and is featured in the national anthem to be shown across Gray Television stations. Her angelic soprano voice is classically trained, and she studies opera and musical theater.
