MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Earlier Tuesday evening, the Superior Health Foundation in Marquette celebrated their building's expansion.
This decision was made after the foundation realized they needed more space to accommodate their growing staff.
Fortunately, their next door neighbor was able to give part of their space for the foundation to build three new offices, expand their board room, and even create an ADA accessible restroom.
"It's just totally awesome,” exclaimed Superior Health Foundation Executive Director, Jim LaJoie. “It really is. We've done a lot of great things for the people of the UP, and to be able to expand our space and give us this really vibrant, kind of new quarters to work in is just terrific."
From here, the foundation says they will continue serving the community.
