MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Super One Foods presented Marquette Township with a check of more than $1,000 on Wednesday.
The store helped raise money during a cookout at Lions Field to go towards improvements at the park.
These improvements will include opening up the ice rink for the community during the winter, in addition to adding any other fun activities the park sees fit.
Super One Foods say they're proud to be a part of this community and give back in a special way.
"We want to give back to the township because we are a part of the township, and it's nice to be involved and partner with the township and be a part of the community, and we're proud to support and give back to the township,” said Mike Lavigne, who is the store manager. “The township supports us daily, and it's just a nice way to get involved and give back."
Marquette Township thanks Super One Foods for giving them the resources to make Lions Field even better for the community.
