Super One store gives to food pantries

NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - Super One stores in Negaunee and Marquette are doing their part to spread goodness with the gift of groceries.

For every $50 customer order, the store will donate a bag of groceries, up to 100 bags.

The bags contain items to help you make a healthy meal, including items like spaghetti, beans, veggies, and tuna.

All the grocery bags from the Negaunee store will go to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.

"We want to do our part to help our community by actually donating from our store. We're hoping that our customers will help us match it, and we will give a really good spread to send to our local food bank today," said Liquor Manager Sarah Kratz.

Donation bags are available every day at both the Negaunee and Marquette locations.
