Sunshine receives snowmobile for her kindness
The little girl who raised thousands of dollars for milk money is getting rewarded for her kindness.
5-year-old Sunshine Oelfkereceived an Arctic Cat snowmobile in front of all her classmates, friends, and family at Birchview Elementary School on Wednesday.
Sunshine loves Arctic Cat and has been snowmobiling her with her family since she was one year old.
Sunshine was originally using her piggy bank to save up money for a snowmobile when she decided to donate the money to her classmates instead.
A District Sales Manager, Manny Sparks, who sells Arctic Cat products heard Sunshine’s story and knew he had to do something for her.
“I saw why she did it and everything else and I was like ‘Oh my gosh you've got to be kidding me, that's incredible just what she did.’ And it was heartfelt for us because she had Arctic Cat on her piggy bank so we were like that is so cool, and right away everyone's like we got to do something," said Sparks.
"I was just so excited,” said Sunshine.
Sunshine’s milk mission also presented a $5,000 check for more milk for her classmates. Arctic Cat gave hats to all the kids, and Jilbert Dairy handed out milk and cow stuffed animals.
