Winter Storm Warnings will be in effect all day on Sunday through Monday morning.

The snow will be slow to move in overnight as it's battling some drier air, but the southern U.P. will have a few inches of snow by the Sunday morning.

Wet heavy snow will be widespread throughout the day on Sunday. We'll also experience strong winds out of the Northeast with gusts up to 45mph. This will lead to blowing snow, reduced visibilities, downed trees, power outages, and 20-foot waves along Lake Superior.

The highest snow accumulations will be across the higher terrains of Marquette county where there could be up to 18" of snow. Otherwise, the southern and western U.P. could pick up around 10-15". The eastern U.P. looks like will get less snow amounts close to 10".

The big take away message is it's not safe to travel on the roads with these conditions. If you can avoid it please do and if you can't drive with extreme caution!
