Stage production of "A Christmas Story" coming to NMU next week

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Ralphie, his pink bunny pajamas, and the infamous leg lamp are all headed to the Forest Roberts Theatre stage on Northern Michigan University's campus for five days of stage performances of the yuletide classic, "A Christmas Story."

NMU Theatre and Dance, along with community members, presents "A Christmas Story" at the Forest Roberts Theatre Dec. 11-15.

Bill Digneit, director of theatre at NMU, says the stage play will be exactly like the movie version-- with some theater magic to pull off each scene, of course.

Along with the performances, Santa Claus and the leg lamp will be available in the lobby before and after each show for attendees to take pictures with.

Shows run Wednesday, Dec. 11 through Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. each day. Saturday also has a 4 p.m. show. Sunday, Dec. 15 will have a performance at 1 p.m.

General admission starts at $17. For ticket information, click here.
