MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC)- Those seeking spiritual healing and guidance came to the Peter White Public Library Saturday for Spirit of the Solstice.
This is the first year for the event, held in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center. Admission to the event included three sessions on a variety of topics. Everything from tarot card readings, energetic healing, and reiki as well as spiritual lectures, acupuncture, and chair messages.
“This is our very first year, this is my very first event,” said Michelle Nichols, Event Coordinator. “I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time and I finally got the opportunity. Everyone seems to be pretty excited so hopefully everybody is having fun and enjoys the experience.”
A total of 17 vendors attended Saturday's event. Organizers plan to continue Spirit of the Solstice for years to come.
