Severe weather strikes Upper Michigan

By  |

UPPER PENINSULA, Mich. (WLUC) Severe weather is tracking to the east pretty quickly--around 40 mph. We have seen a tornado warning for Marquette County switch over to a severe thunderstorm warning. The greatest threat is still going to be large, damaging hail greater than 1" in diameter, strong winds in excess of 60 mph, and very heavy rainfall in a short period of time.

This storm is dangerous. Roads will flood easily and expect damage to trees, power lines, and roofs.
