Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Schoolcraft, Luce Counties

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Luce and northeastern Schoolcraft County until 12:30 p.m.

The NWS says that severe thunderstorms were located at 10:58 a.m. along a line extending from eight miles northwest of Steuben to seven miles northeast of Garden Corners. The storms are moving northeast at 35 MPH.

They say quarter sized hail and 60 MPH wind gusts can be expected in the area.
