The search continues for 71-year-old missing hunter, Rodney Granroth.

According to Michael Neiger with Michigan Backcountry Search and Rescue, teams were still out searching on Wednesday in 4 to 5 inches of wet snow.

Neiger spoke to some locals Wednesday morning, and was mapping the Tapiola area and checking for points of interest.

Further tracking will continue as needed Thursday morning, and throughout the weekend. Bloodhounds will be coming up with a search and rescue team from southern Michigan as well.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Granroth, please call the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department at 1-906-482-0055.
