MARINETTE, Wisc. (WLUC) - UPDATE: The name of the man who was involved in the fatal A.T.V. crash has been released.
According to The Marinette County Sheriff's Office, the victim has been identified as William Doyen Jr. He was 49 years old.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded to fatal A.T.V. crash Saturday morning.
At 7:43 a.m. Marinette County Dispatch received a call of a burned four-wheeler and a deceased male in the wreckage on Town Road #41.
According the Sherriff’s Office, the investigation shows the A.T.V. was headed eastbound from Highway 180 when it rolled over and ended upright. The machine then burned, as well as the male who was under the wreckage.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner are working to identify the male victim.
