Reported AT&T outages in Upper Peninsula

MARQUETTE, MI (WLUC)- UPDATE: An AT&T spokesman says the outage was repaired the same day, Tuesday, August 13 at 10 p.m.. The cause of the outage was a contractor accidentally cutting the phone line. That happened in the area of the U.S. 41 roundabout construction project.
The AT&T Outage map shows that there are outages in Marquette and Houghton as of 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. TV 6 has also received reports of landline, cellular, and internet outages in Negaunee and Marquette. No cause of the outages has been released at this time.
