Update: Negaunee man arraigned after firing warning shots in Marquette Township

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - UPDATE: Thursday, January 4th. 4:46 P.M:

John Andre Manchester Jr. of Negaunee has been arraigned in Marquette District Court.

Manchester has been charged with Arson Preparation to Burn a Dwelling, Weapons Possession by a Felon, Felony Firearms, and two counts of Domestic Violence 2nd Degree.

Manchester has a probable cause conference scheduled for January 17th.
The Michigan State Police and the Marquette County Sheriff's Department were on the scene of an incident in Marquette Township Tuesday night.

Officers along with two ambulances were called to the area of Morgan Meadows Road and County Road 492 around 8:00 p.m. The initial call came in about a possible shooting. Michigan State Police later determined that two "warning shots" were fired, but no one was injured. One person was arrested for domestic violence.

That suspect is lodged at the Marquette County Jail. Charges are pending.

No other information has been released. TV6 will pass along more information as it becomes available.
