Plea agreement reached in Marquette Federal drug case

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - 35-year-old Patrick Sievers has entered a plea agreement in Marquette Federal Court.

Sievers pleaded guilty to counts one and five of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of Firearms in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime.

The other five charges have been dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Siever’s was originally arrested in Ironwood last March. UPSET Detectives executed a search warrant at a cabin in Ontonagon County and seized several firearms, stolen property, and several grams of crystal meth. Detectives found evidence that the suspect was involved in distributing meth.

In May, he was arrested by Federal Court and in June Ontonagon County Court dismissed his state charges.

A sentencing date has not been set at this time.
