Peripheral Artery Disease: How heart disease can affect your legs

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - February is American Heart Month. When we think about heart health we don’t usually think about how our legs could be affected by heart disease.

But the same plaque that can narrow the blood vessels supplying your heart can also narrow the blood vessels in your legs. It's a common condition known as Peripheral Artery Disease.
