Ore Dock's annual Angry Bear a celebration of spring

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Ore Dock Brewing Company hosted their 6th annual Festival of the Angry Bear Saturday.

Ore Dock Owner, Andrea Pernsteiner says the festival another fun way to celebrate spring by getting out of the house, enjoying some good music, dancing, comradery and of course, beer.

There were prizes, merchandise, Angry Bear gear, commemorative mugs, live music and more.

Pernsteiner asserted, the main attraction at the festival is the limited edition Angry Bear Beer and several other limited edition brews.

“The beers that we're pouring here today, there's a very good chance you won't see any other time of the year. One of the cool aspects of it is, every year around this time we put those beers in the barrels and we put them to sleep in the barrels for the rest of the year. Then we break them out a couple weeks before the fest, keg them off all ready for us to enjoy this day only,” Pernsteiner declared.

Pernsteiner also reminds everyone to drink responsibly and get home safely.
