IRONWOOD, Mich. (WLUC) Just after 3 a.m. Central Time Ironwood Public Safety responded to a reported structure fire at 324 East Oak Street.
Once on the scene authorities reported the first floor of the home was engulfed by flames.
The three occupants of the home were able to evacuate the home, one was transported to Aspirus Grand View Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The fire was under control by 3:48 a.m. and officers left the scene just after 5 a.m.
The home received extensive damage and is believed to be a total loss.
Family pets were also lost due to the fire.
The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
