MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The first floor residents of One Marquette Place are officially settled in, and on Wednesday, January 9, second floor residents will be able to move in to their new homes.
The building has officially started moving residents in and they estimate they have about one month left of construction.
Roughly 50 percent of the 68 units are pre-leased and they expect the building to be fully occupied by Spring 2019.
Every high-efficiency unit has views of Lake Superior, and One Marquette Place says they couldn't be more excited to welcome their new residents.
"It's always great, as an architect, to come to the end of a project," said Barry Polzin, Architect of One Marquette Place. "It takes so long it and it takes so many people. There are 80 to 100 people working on this project everyday and to go through that whole process and to see people now using it for the way we intended is great."
