MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Registration is coming along for Northern Michigan University's upcoming Nonprofit Management Workshop.
NMU's Continuing Education Center invited Cedric Calhoun to explain how organizations can effectively plan and execute their missions.
These tips will help non-profits especially those in rural communities better serve their community at-large.
"A lot of what happens is there's not a lot of training that occurs in small communities. I have 25 years of non-profit experience, and I just really want to give back to the community with some best practices and some lessons learned,” explained Cedric Calhoun, the President of Eclipse Business Strategies.
NMU’s Continuing Education Center will host the two-part series beginning March 10, and then following on April 14 at the Northern Center in Ballroom IV.
The sessions are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
