WELLS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - A new business in Wells Township opened its doors Wednesday, hoping to give Delta County residents a place for family fun.
UPutt held their grand opening with a steady stream of customers. The family fun center contains a 14-hole indoor mini-golf course with black lights and life-size props. When you're done golfing, you can eat at their snack bar, or play in the arcade.
The owners say while the project has been a lot of work, it was worth it to see all the support from area residents.
"We've had such an outpouring of help from the community, people helping us in so many ways. Because they, too, feel this is something worthwhile in our community. And that's probably been the best thing in the whole project," said owner Don Martin.
UPutt will also promote a "Feature Non-Profit of the Month," and will donate a portion of mini-golf sales to that Delta County organization.
