Negaunee woman sentenced for stealing drugs from UPHS

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - UPDATE 4/15- Emily Barker was sentenced Friday in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Barker pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, operating when intoxicated with an occupant under 16, possession of a controlled substance – specifically hydromorphone and attempted larceny in a building.

She received 30 days in jail with credit for three days on count one, but for her second charge, the sentencing was not public record.

A 26- year-old Negaunee woman pleaed guilty in the Marquette county circuit court Friday after being arrested for stealing drugs from UPHS-Marquette.

On December 4th, Marquette police arrested Emily Margaret Barker on a seven count court warrant.

Barker pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, operating when intoxicated with an occupant under 16, possession of a controlled substance – specifically hydromorphone and attempted larceny in a building.

The sentencing date is scheduled for April 12th.
