NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Negaunee Public Library is hosting their annual Valentine's Tea and Media Sale on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The sale features cheap, gently-used books and vinyl records, as well as food and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
"You can stock up on a lot of gently-used books, some of which used to be library books. Come out, have a good time, there's always a good spread of food," says Negaunee Public Library Director, Jessica Holman.
Holman adds that not only is the sale a good way to get people into the library, but that the event raises money that directly helps the library.
The event is being put on by the volunteer group 'Friends of the Library'. The Negaunee Boys Basketball team also came in to help bring up books and other supplies from the library's basement.
