Nebraska man sentenced to jail and probation for assault charges

MENOMINEE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - A Nebraska man accused of ramming other vehicles on M-35 in Menominee County was sentenced Monday in circuit court.

Joshua Bougie, 23, received three years of probation for the first count of felonious assault with a vehicle and on the second count of the same charge, he received 12 months jail with credit for 180 days.

He also received 93 days in jail with credit for all days already served for operating while driving under the influence.

Bougie was arrested after ramming into other vehicles and causing a series of crashes starting in Menominee Township, through Ingallston Township, and ending in Cedarville Township. Victims were taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba for treatment.
